What if the Wi-Fi goes down?
The router is under the floor lamp in the living room — unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in. If still no internet after 5 minutes, WhatsApp Adam and he'll log into the Plusnet portal remotely.
Where can I leave my luggage on checkout day?
Raynes Park station (5 min walk) and Wimbledon station (15 min) both have Stasher partners around £6 per bag. Book through their app.
Can I have visitors over?
Daytime visitors are fine. Overnight guests count toward your booking — please WhatsApp Adam first.
How do I get hot water?
On demand from the boiler in the kitchen cupboard. If you have hot taps but cold radiators, the right boiler dial is probably at 12 o'clock — flick it to 2 o'clock to turn heating on.
A radiator isn't warming up — what do I do?
Check the wall thermostat next to the kitchen door is on 'manual' and set above room temperature. Then check the valve at the bottom of the radiator — anti-clockwise to increase heat. If nothing, message Adam.
Can I park outside?
No on-site parking. Street parking is free except 11 AM – 12 PM Mon–Fri (Merton CPZ). Park at any other time without a permit.
Is there a washing machine?
Not in the unit. Nearest laundrette is on Coombe Lane (5 min walk) — message Adam for specifics.
What if I lock myself out?
Your lockbox code is in your portal under 'Lockbox code'. If it isn't working, WhatsApp Adam immediately.
Is there a lift?
No — one flight of stairs to the flat. Stairs only — not suitable for wheelchairs or guests with significant mobility needs.
Do you allow pets?
Pets aren't allowed by default, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. WhatsApp Abodess at least 7 days before arrival with breed and size — case-by-case approval, additional cleaning fee may apply.
Is there a travel cot or highchair available?
We don't currently keep a travel cot or highchair at this property. If you need either for your stay, WhatsApp Abodess — we can sometimes arrange a rental with advance notice.
