Which key opens which door?
You'll find two sets of keys in the lockbox: one for the front door (shared entrance) and one for the upstairs door. The front-door key gets you into the building and the ground-floor flat; the upstairs key opens the first-floor flat. Both floors are yours for the whole-house booking — but doors are separate so bedrooms can be locked privately.
What if the Wi-Fi goes down?
The router is in the living area — unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in. If signal is weak upstairs, message Abodess about boosting it. Otherwise WhatsApp Abodess after 5 minutes.
Where can I leave luggage on checkout day?
Stonebridge Park station (10 min walk) and Wembley Park (20 min by bus) both have Stasher/Bounce partners around £6 per bag.
Can I have visitors over?
Daytime visitors are fine. Overnight guests must be on the booking — please confirm headcount with Abodess in advance. Strictly no parties.
How do I get hot water?
On demand from the boiler in the ground-floor kitchen cupboard, supplying both floors. If multiple showers run back-to-back, give it 30 seconds between to reheat.
A radiator isn't getting warm — what do I do?
Check the thermostat for that floor (one in each hallway) is set above room temperature. Then turn the valve at the bottom of the radiator anti-clockwise. WhatsApp Abodess if still cold.
Can we park outside?
Yes — please park on Webb Place (behind the property), not in front of 16 the apartment. Parking is free, no permit needed.
What if we lock ourselves out?
Your lockbox code is in your portal under 'Lockbox code'. If it isn't working, WhatsApp Abodess immediately.
Is there a lift?
No — three-storey house with internal stairs between floors. Step-free into the ground floor; bedrooms upstairs reached by internal stairs.
Do you allow pets?
Pets aren't allowed by default, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. WhatsApp Abodess at least 7 days before arrival with breed and size — case-by-case approval, additional cleaning fee may apply.
Is there a travel cot or highchair available?
Yes — both a travel cot and a highchair are available on request. Message Abodess on WhatsApp at least 48 hours before arrival so we can set them up before check-in.
